Supply Chain Management Department

The Supply Chain Management Department at ASU's W. P. Carey School of Business produces highly trained students ready to work in world-class supply chain management organizations.

Students take courses is logistics, procurement, negotiations, quality management, supply chain planning and execution, and supply chain strategies. Our courses include case studies, real-world projects, and guest speakers to bring the material to life. Our graduates have been highly successful in the workplace and we are proud to be ranked #4 according to U.S. News and World Report.

Our program has benefited significantly from a rich partnership with the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). Our students have worked directly for ISM (through internships and part-time positions) and have also increased their professional network by joining ISM's Arizona affiliate NAPM- Arizona.

Our faculty is also engaged through CAPS Research, which is a partnership between ISM and the W. P. Carey School of Business. Dr. Phil Carter is the CAPS executive director and holds the Harold E. Fearon Chair within our department. He serves on the advisory board for the Journal of Supply Chain Management. Thomas Choi, Arnold Maltz, and Elliot Rabinovich also serve as associate editors for this journal.

We look forward to our continued partnership with ISM and continued success for both organizations.
